False Confessions : An Interesting Study

http://scienceblogs.com/cognitivedaily/2006/07/false_confessions_not_as_rare_1.php

This blog explains a study done on how false confessions are made and how often they are even internalized by the confessor. The article is followed by quite a few interesting and thoughtful comments. Definitely worth a read for those who like to know about how the human mind works and those in the legal (criminal) profession.

And before I end, thanks a lot to Anjai for introducing me to Google Reader, using which I reached at this article
